Mozzarella, Tomato & Prosciutto Salad

This is my hubby’s all time favorite salad.  I could make it every night with no complaints.  It’s so simple and so fresh, especially in the Summer months when the tomatoes are plentiful and oh so sweet!  To get the most flavor out of your tomatoes, remember, don’t keep them in the fridge.


  • 2 ripe, organic tomatoes, sliced ¼ in thick
  • ¾ pound fresh mozzarella, sliced ¼ in thick
  • ¾ cup fresh basil leaves
  • 4 slices all natural prosciutto, cut in half
  • Himalayan sea salt, and ground pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar


  1. Arrange the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves in an alternating pattern on a serving platter.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  3. Top each tomato with prosciutto
  4. Drizzle with oil & vinegar
